He was predeceased by: his son Timothy Thomas; and his brother Jeff Thomas. He is survived by: his children, Pollyanne Kimmel (Tom) of Madisonville, Kentucky, Amanda Dewitt of Sturgis, Kentucky, Carrie Davis (Steven) of Glen Carbon, Illinois and Alex Thomas (Joy) of Sturgis, Kentucky.; his grandchildren, Gavin Goldsberry, Geurin Kimmel, Lillian Kimmel, Sara Davis, Jadyn Butts, Liza Davis, Isabella Young of Evan Davis, J. W and Jack Thomas; his great grandchild Sutton Goldsberry; his mother Margaret Thomas; and his siblings, Dave Thomas, Mary Ann Correll, Jan Brown, Vincent Thomas, Susan Johns and Emily Wilson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
