He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Gerhold and Beatrice Gerhold; his brothers, Carl Gerhold and Robert Gerhold; his grandson Arlo Weeden; and his mother-in-law Shirley Renzelman.
He is survived by: his wife Terry Renzelman; his daughter Laura Jean Gerhold (Dean Regas); his stepdaughters, Emily Fricke (Brennan) and Abigail McWhorter (Thomas); his siblings, Thomas Gerhold (Paulette), John Gerhold and Barbara Schurman (Mark); and his sister-in-law Nila Gerhold. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
