He is survived by: his children, William Ballard Faulkner III (Jackie Beck Faulkner) of Cynthiana, Karl Prichard Faulkner II of Columbus, Ohio and Karla Lu Faulkner Pugh (Ronald Maurice) of Union, Kentucky; his grandchildren, William (Amanda), Olivia (Ryan), Brooke, Mark, Phillip (Kristina), Robert (Shannon), Micah (Ashton), Karl, Jesse and Kristin; his great grandchildren, Veronica, Anthony (Monica), Andrew, Victoria, Jonathan, Lucy, Allison, Gabriel and Slone; and his great great grandchildren, Braylee and Alianna.
