He was predeceased by: his siblings, Mae, Faye, Amos, Felan, Lelan, Charles, Shirley, Larry, Billy and Junior.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Houston Roaden; his children, Michael Roaden (Christine) and Rebecca Middendorf (Daniel); his grandchildren, Amie Turner (Jon), Sarah Roaden, Jacob Middendorf, Joshua Middendorf and Justin Middendorf; his great grandchildren, Carter, Charlotte, Callen and Caden Turner; and his sisters, Jane Disney and Marlene Puckett (Dale). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; as well as many other close friends.
