It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evalene Rogers of Union, Kentucky, who passed away on December 27, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jason Mayes and Beulah Mayes; her siblings, William "Billy" Mayes and Louella Wright; and her husband Vaughn Rogers.

She is survived by: her children, Timothy Rogers of Louisville, KY and Mitzi Rogers of Odessa, FL; her granddaughters, Sydney Smith (Austin) of Louisville, KY, Kamryn Rogers of Lexington, KY and Karsen Rogers of Odessa, FL; and her brother Randy Mayes (Debbie) of Perryville, KY.. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Contributions and donations can be made to Belleview Baptist Church, St. Elizabeth Hospice, or the NKY Nursing Honor Guard.

“So sorry about Evalene passing. She was a good friend and co-worker and meeting with her at the retired nurse's luncheons and we would talk about the tributes. One Sunday she was sitting in Frishe's and we invited her to sit with us. My son's family enjoyed her so much. We now have an empty chair at our tables. May she rest in peace. It is an honor to do her Tribute today. Brenda”
