It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas William McLane of Union, Kentucky, born in Fort Thomas, Kentucky, who passed away on January 30, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary McLane and Fred McLane, Jr.; and his sister Kathy McLane. He is survived by: his wife Sallie McLane; his children, Marcus McLane (Katherine Goldsmith) and Sallie "Sam" Lau (Mark); his grandchildren, Hunter, Morgan, Sara and Lorrin Lau; and his siblings, Fred McLane, III (late Mary), Mary Fritsch (Frank), Julie Siemer (John), Beth Recht (Joel) and Michael "Mick" McLane. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
