It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Franklin McCoy of Union, Kentucky, who passed away on January 16, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred McCoy Sr. and Ava Nell Yates McCoy; his wife Virginia Louise Moore McCoy; and his siblings, Rachael Vaughn, J. E. McCoy, Jerry McCoy and Billy Jo McCoy.
He is survived by: his siblings, Julia Reynolds of Ripley, TN, Robert McCoy (Judy) of Union City, TN, Sara Lou Sanders of Fulton, KY, Fred McCoy (Linda) of Palmetto, GA, Sam McCoy of Wingo, KY and Jesse McCoy (Dianne) of Union.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel (302 Carr St, Fulton, KY 42041). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, January 20th 2025.
