As we bid Carol Jean farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Carol Jean is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Etler; her brother Lou Krumpelman; and her parents, Lou Krumpelman and Irene Krumpelman. She is survived by: her sons, Doug Etler (Kim) of Crescent Springs, Todd Etler (Shay) of Keller, TX and Mark Etler (Jessica Brown) of Ludlow. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and countless dear friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mother of God Roman Catholic Church (119 W 6th St, Covington, KY 41011). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, Carol's family has requested that you make a donation to the charity of your choice, just as she would have done.
