He was predeceased by: his sister Loretta Davis; his wife Mildred Vandiver; his former wife Mildred Avitt Hesler; his son-in-law Lynn Stull; and his stepgrandchildren, Kelly Hesler and Rana Stull.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Darryl Hesler (Bobbie), Linda Stull (Marvin), Sheila Stull and Phil Hesler (Debbie); and his wife Mildred Hesler Calebs. He is also survived by 8 step grandchildren, 15 step great-grandchildren; and 10 step great-great grandchildren.
