He was predeceased by: his parents, James Louis and Eula Augusta Payne Swink; and his brothers, Louie, Johnny, Joe and Gene Swink.
He is survived by: his wife Loretta Hardin Swink; his children, Nancy Basham (Bobby) of Union Star, Teresa Peters (Billy) of Payneville and Jack Swink (Paula) of Union Star; his siblings, Randall Swink of Irvington, Rob Swink of Union Star, Donnie Swink of Sample, Joy "Sis" Knott of Louisville and Linda Brown of Brandenburg; and his grandchildren, Bobbi Jo Poole (Gary), David Basham (Priscilla), Jesse Peters (Kristi), Ashley Richey, Eric Ford and Lynn Swink (Mollye). He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
