With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Jo Borders of Ulysses, Kentucky, born in Blaine, Kentucky, who passed away on January 2, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walker Thompson and Nancy O'Bryan Thompson; and her husband Howard Glen Borders. She is survived by: her son Robert Glen Borders (Damaris Ortiz-Borders); her granddaughter Tielar Wheeler; her stepgrandchildren, Moses Moldes, Summer Moldes and Bandon Moldes; her siblings, Louise Cordle, Willa Elliott, Neva Robinett, Sue Bryant, Sharon Smith and Walker Jr. Thompson; and her siblings-in-law, Joyce Barlett (David) and Joseph L. Borders (Gwen). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and extended family.
In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to Wilson Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
