She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Hamilton and Ruby Blair Hamilton; her husband John Welch; and her sons, Tommy Welch and Lyle.
She is survived by: her daughter Betty Dawn Preston of Meally, KY; and her sisters, Margaret Stroud of Charleston, WV and Kay Slone of Thelma, KY. She is also survived by three grand children, five great grand children, and one great great grand child.
