He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Jones Addison; his parents, George Franklin Addison and Addie Lee Latham Addison; and his siblings, Gaither Addison, Jewell Addison, Jettie Frogue, Louise Cumbee, Eva Addison and Nettie Hooper.
He is survived by: his children, Wayne Bartlett Addison II (Jean) of Trenton, KY, John Franklin Addison (Rachel) of Smyrna, TN, Sarah Jane Addison of Trenton, KY and Amanda Lee Gipson of Clarksville, TN; and his brother William "Bill" Addison of Elkton, KY. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
