She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Ellis and Inos Hatcher Ellis; and her siblings, Larry Ellis, Eva Doss and Cathy Weatherford.

She is survived by: her daughters, Shellie Prunty (D. L.) of Louisville and Sonya Driver (Kenneth Howell) of Trenton; and her siblings, Ronnie Ellis (Mary) of Trenton and Linda Hickman (Joe) of Lewisburg. She is also survived by four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
