He was predeceased by: his wife Lelia Chastain Cole; his parents, Wilbur Clark Cole and Gladys Lee Gilliam Cole; and his brothers, Hollis Cole and Barry Cole.

He is survived by: his children, Chris (Shannon Cole) of Trenton, KY and Shelley Haley (Paul) of Nashville, TN; his brother Terry Cole of Trenton, KY; and his grandchildren, Sheridan Haley, Davis Haley, Sarah Cole and Connor Cole.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be given to the Trenton United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 162, Trenton, KY 42286.
