He was predeceased by: his wife Anna Murl Dalton; and his children, Dixie Spears and Ernie Dalton. He is survived by: his children, Danny Dalton (Christine) and Patricia Langford (Kenny); his son-in-law Gary Spears; and his grandchildren, James Hyrne, Vineda Klak, Chrystal Dalton, Danny Dalton, Shawanna Mitchell and Greg Langford. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.
