With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Charles Phillip Fox of Totz, Kentucky, born in Pennington Gap, Virginia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles H. Fox and Louanna Cunningham Fox; his brother Homer Stephen Fox; his siblings-in-law, Sherry Lynn Fox and Michael Eugene Lay; and his parents-in-law, Eugene and Anna Stewart Lay.
He is survived by: his wife Cathy Lay Fox; his daughters, Misty Fox of Baxter and Melody Lewis of Baxter; his brother Rick Fox (Annie) of Harlan; his grandchildren, Autumn and Cayden Lewis; and his pets, Pebbles, Toby, Milo and Teddy. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and dear friends.
A memorial service was held on Friday, September 13th 2024 at 4:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Center at Hazard, KY.
