He is survived by: his wife Brenda Helton Austin; his children, Albert Dewayne Austin (Baxter), Joanna Gibson (Harlan), Charlie Austin (Kelly), Dennis Schumaker (Pam) and Michael Hudson; and his siblings, Ed Austin (Jamie) of Central City, KY, Mack Austin of Central City, KY, Tom Austin (Donna) of Central City, KY, Clara Gregory (Teddy) and Ima Jean Griffin (Butch). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.
