It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Franklin Shrum of Topmost, Kentucky, who passed away on January 9, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Franklin Shrum; his daughter Heather Shrum; and his brother Teddy Shrum. He is survived by: his mother Joy Swearengin Shrum; his wife Tammy Shrum; his children, Roger Dale "Little Man" Shrum (Ashley), Austin Shrum (Sarah), Sherri Howard and Latoshia Slone; his siblings, Avery Shrum (Lisa) and Glenda Shrum; his grandchildren, Jacob, Jalynn, Aubrey, Griffin, Granger, Landon and Rielly; and his great grandchild Autumn.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM at the Nelson-Frazier Funeral Home - Hindman Chapel (125 Parks Rd, Hindman, KY 41822). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM.
