It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willis Ira Murray of Tompkinsville, Kentucky, born in Moss, Tennessee, who passed away on May 6, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clurie Murray and Vella Murray (Proffitt); his wife Patricia Dryburg; and his siblings, Elease McQueen, Dorothy Lawson, Ruth Hyden, Ella Mae Zamarippa, Lorine Goad, Vanus, Ellis and Delmas Murray.
He is survived by: his children, Dwayne Murray (Donna) of Tompkinsville and Lee Ann Bragg (Willard) of Etoile; his close friend Hellen Strode Eaton; his grandchildren, Stefanie Ferguson, Lucas Bragg, Ariel Perry and Kayla Wesolowski; his great grandchild Rowan Perry; and his siblings, Selby Murray, Reba Meshlam of Orlando Florida and Norma Davis of Tompkinsville.
In lieu of flowers; memorial contributions may take the form of donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in memory of Willis.
