With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vernie Arnett of Tompkinsville, Kentucky, who passed away on December 28, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Vernie leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Vernie may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cuba Francis (Strode) and John Chandler; her husband Ezra Truman Arnett; and her brother Pernie Chandler. She is survived by: her sons, Jason Arnett (Cristy) of Tompkinsville, KY and John Arnett of Tompkinsville, KY; and her grandchildren, Madison, Hannah and Emily Arnett.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Yokley-Trible Funeral Home (510 W 4th St, Tompkinsville, KY 42167). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at the Freedom #2 Cemetery.
