She was predeceased by: her parents, David Cloyd and Ina Cloyd (Murphy); her husband Danny Dale Poynter; and her siblings, Edsel, James, Tommy, Reggie, Clifford "Poodle" Cloyd, Maggie Hammer (Clyde) and Adene Daniel (Leon).
She is survived by: her siblings, Arlene Downing of Tompkinsville and Hollis Cloyd (Danetta) of Hampshire; and her sister-in-law Faye Cloyd. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Center Point Cemetery or to Leukemia Association in memory of Sherry.
