It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Strong of Tompkinsville, Kentucky, who passed away on November 24, 2020, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Roy Strong to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Ray and Nova Marie Strong (Russell); his brothers, Richard and Rondell Strong; and his nieces, Candida Ferguson and Jakayla Howard.
He is survived by: his wife Candy Kay Strong (Birge); his siblings, Robert Strong, Roger Strong of Gamaliel and Barbara Ferguson (Bobby) of Tompkinsville; his sisters-in-law, Trula Strong and Sue Strong; his grandchildren, Laura Strong (Hunter Madison) of Tompkinsville, Kailee Strong (Jamison Woodcock) of Tompkinsville, Madison (Cameron Roderick) of Tompkinsville, Mason Strong of Tompkinsville and Kali Capps of Tompkinsville; and his great grandchild Brendalyn Madison. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In keeping with the Governor's recommendations for safety during funeral services, the number of attendees in the funeral home during service will be limited to 25; no food permitted in the lounge; social distancing will be necessary and face coverings are required or you will not be allowed into the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated by the family for funeral expenses, and these may be made at the funeral home or mailed to Anderson-Bartley Funeral Home, 204 Columbia Avenue, Tompkinsville, KY 42167.
