She was predeceased by: her parents, Eula Hood (Davis) and Radford Hood; and her husband Roger Cornwell. She is survived by: her daughters, Patrice (Brent Ayres) of Glasgow, KY, Christie Copass (Matt Blankenship) of Tompkinsville, KY and Jan Cornwell (Jamie Lee Dugard) of Scottsville, KY; her grandchildren, Kelsea Copass, Megan Britt (Copass), Gus and Avery Ayres; and her sister Janet Hood of Tompkinsville, KY..

Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Yokley-Trible Funeral Home (510 W 4th St, Tompkinsville, KY 42167). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

Memorial donations suggested to the Skaggs Creek Cemetery.
