Muriel H. Grider Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 8, 2022, at the age of 91, Muriel H. Grider of Tompkinsville, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Nelson and Honor Hume (Rasner); her husband Robert Lester Grider; her daughters, Bobbie Kay Grider and Mary Joyce Davis (Grider); her siblings, Ishmael Hume, Eugene Hume, Morris Hume, Benny Hume and Virginia Deckard; and her grandson Seth Davis.
She is survived by: her daughter Elizabeth Greer (Jerry) of Huntsville, Alabama; her grandchildren, Eliza Bortz (Sean) of Old Hickory, Nathan Davis (Amber) of Lexington and Alana Greer (Taiji Tsukidate) of Tokyo, Japan; her great grandchild Kaito Greer Tsukidate; and her siblings, Rudolph Hume (Effi) of Tompkinsville, Mark Hume (Kathy) of Lexington and Naomi Guffey of Tompkinsville. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Skaggs Creek Cemetery in honor of Mrs. Grider, those may be made at the funeral home.
