Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Marcus Sherfey Jr. of Tompkinsville, Kentucky, born in Mount Hermon, Kentucky, who passed away at the age of 86, on August 18, 2020. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcus D. Sherfey and Beatrice Payne Sherfey; and his grandson John Timothy Sherfey. He is survived by: his wife Naomi Eubank; his children, Mark Anthony Sherfey (Laurie) of Monterey, TN and Sheila Emberton (James) of Tompkinsville; his sister Bernell Kendall of Tompkinsville; and his grandchildren, Shayne Emberton (Cindy), Trent Emberton (Chelsea), Mark Sherfey Jr., Tara Sherfey, Hannah Prosser (Drew), Tyler Sherfey (Mary), Daniel and Ethan Sherfey. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
Masonic Rights will be conducted on Wednesday at 7:00 p. m. **Due to Covid-19 and the restrictions from The Government and CDC, masks must be worn upon entry of the funeral home. ** Alternate expressions of sympathy may be made to the Monroe County Retired Teachers Scholarship, or to Old Tompkinsville Baptist Church in memory of Mr. Sherfey.
