She was predeceased by: her parents, Gladys Proffitt (Smith) and Claude T. Proffitt; her husband Ben Bartley; her sons, Evans Dale and Jackie T. Bartley; her great grandchild Evan Warren; and her siblings, Vivian Gearlds, Rex, Evans, Louis and Ezra Proffitt.
She is survived by: her children, Sandie Bartley of Tompkinsville, KY, Faye Warren (JR) of Portland, TN, Dawn Emberton (Charles) of Tompkinsville, KY and Terry Bartley (Rosetta) of Franklin, KY; and her brother Glen Proffitt of Tompkinsville, KY.. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 10 step great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Maerene's memory may be made to Old Mt. Herman Cemetery or Isenberg Cemetery.
