With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Larry Clarkson of Tompkinsville, Kentucky, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Larry left this world on March 3, 2025 at the age of 76, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fay Clarkson and Ada Turner England (Clarkson); his wife Josephine Clarkson; his siblings, Wendell, Ralph and Kathleen Clarkson; and also Ada.
He is survived by: his sons, Randy Clarkson (Ellen) and Darren Clarkson (Gara); his stepchildren, Amanda Hutcherson and Wesley Pitcock; his sister Christine Smith; and his great grandchildren, Bryce, Aria, Abrahm, Adaley, Paxton, Kensley, Coleson, Trenity and Weston. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Yokley-Trible Funeral Home (510 W 4th St, Tompkinsville, KY 42167). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Larry's memory may be made to Bethlehem Cemetery, or Shanti Niketan Hospice Home in Glasgow, KY.
