She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Helen Daniel (Bow) and Mitchell Long; her daughter Sherri Proffitt; and her siblings, Emogene Jones, Betty Trobaugh and Darrell Long.
She is survived by: her spouse Harley Proffitt; her daughter Lori Barlow (Chris) of Glasgow, KY; her grandchildren, Dalton Goad and Aleiah Barlow; and her brother Jesse Long of Tompkinsville, KY..
For the protection of Mrs. Proffitt's family, it is kindly asked for anyone coming to the services to abide by Governor Beshear's recommendation of wearing a mask and practicing social distancing. No public lounge is available at this time due to Covid-19.
