He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Wilson and Ella Gill (Proffitt); his wife Isabelle Gill (Emberton); and his sister Nelena Gill Howard. He is survived by: his children, Greg Gill (Cathy) of Glasgow, Tim Gill (Virgina) of Tompkinsville and Nancy Rush (Waylon) of Glasgow; his grandchildren, Michael Gill (Amy), Karla Cloyd (Kevin), Courtney Johnson (Josh), Mary Edwards (Justin), Susan Foster and Gill Thomas (Kelsey); and his great grandchildren, Jake Gill, Kenndy Gill, Payton Stinson (Logan), Madison Cloyd, Mckenna Johnson, Britten Foster, JT Thomas and Bo Thomas.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 17th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 18th 2024 from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Bartley & Sons - Tompkinsville (204 Columbia Ave, Tompkinsville, KY 42167). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 18th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, October 18th 2024 at 2:15 PM at the Monroe County Memorial.
