She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton Humes and Effie Dubree Humes; her great grandchild Nash Harlan; and her siblings, Harlie, Ralph, Roy, Robert, Rondal Humes, Odell Lollar, Stella Shaw, Hazel Paul, Ida Self and Geraldean Bowman.
She is survived by: her husband Joe Billy Bowman of Tompkinsville, KY; her children, Jerry Bowman of Tompkinsville, KY, Anita Petett (Joe) of Edmonton, KY and Joseph Bowman (Kelli) of Tompkinsville, KY; her grandchildren, Kelsey Harlan (Grayson), Kaley Dillard (Tyler), Ember Bowman, Kole Bowman and Asher Bowman; her great grandchildren, Slade Harlan, Axton Harlan, Raine Harlan and Atalie Dillard; and her sister Joyce Kerr (Jerry) of Tompkinsville, KY. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the McMurtrey Funeral Home (2232 Summer Shade Rd, Summer Shade, KY 42166).
