He was predeceased by: his parents, Ina Mae (Hood) and Roy F. Payne. He is survived by: his wife Helen Payne; his son David Payne of Mt. Hermon, KY; his grandchildren, Alexis Hunley (Adam) and Matthew Payne (Kourtney); and his great grandchildren, Levi Payne and Atticus Hunley.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Yokley-Trible Funeral Home (510 W 4th St, Tompkinsville, KY 42167). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at the Bethlehem Cemetery (14 Clyde Short Rd, Tompkinsville, KY 42167).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Harold's memory are requested to Bethlehem Cemetery.
