We are sad to announce that on March 3, 2025, at the age of 82, Glaydell Graves of Tompkinsville, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Glaydell farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Glaydell is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethle Gearlds (White) and Escoe Gearlds; her siblings, Truman Geralds and Lucille Groce; and her daughter Darlene Graves.
She is survived by: her husband Johnny Graves of Tompkinsville; her children, Shonna Short (Adam) of Tompkinsville, KY, David Graves of Bowling Green, KY and Johnny Wayne Graves (Cindy) of Winchester, KY.; and her brother Eagle Wayne Gearlds of Tompkinsville, KY.. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Yokley-Trible Funeral Home (510 W 4th St, Tompkinsville, KY 42167). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
