It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evie Jewell Birge of Tompkinsville, Kentucky, who passed away on September 21, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George McClard and Vivian "Harrison" McClard; her husband Howard Birge; and her siblings, Leonard, Bernard, Carlos, Dan McClard, Margaret Hale and Betty Shirley.
She is survived by: her son Randy Birge (Amanda) of Hestand; her sister Nell Smith (Carroll) of Dry Fork; and her grandchildren, Aleda Birge Smith (Garrett) of Tompkinsville and Makayla Birge of Hestand. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
