She was predeceased by: her parents, Sally Hurt and Shaw; her husband James Edward Strode; her children, Jackie Strode and Betty Blankenship; and her siblings, Oshea Huff, Hilda Lynn, Buddy Hurt and Paul Ballard.
She is survived by: her children, Joyce Blythe (Terry), Barbara White (Mickey), Jody Strode, Kenny Strode (Sylvia) and Ft Run; her sister Minnie Pearl Bryant; her grandchildren, Stephen, Michael Blythe, Angie Tucker, Mark Strode, Michell Norris, Mary Blankenship, Tyler Simpson and Timothy Dale Strode; and her close friend Patricia Copas. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral fund or the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
