He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Erwin Gilreath and Ruth Aileen (Lowery); his wife Dorothy Walker Gilreath; and his siblings, Lynn-Gilreath-Pacheco and Jerry Gilreath.
He is survived by: his son Mitchell Gilreath of Tompkinsville; and his siblings, Dewayne Gilreath, Charles Gilreath, Robert Elsie Gilreath, Carolyn Gonzalez and Connie Gilreath.
