He was predeceased by: his parents, George Clarence and Elizabeth "Lizzie" Brown (Cleary); his wife Ruby Martin Brown (Taylor); and his siblings, Floyd, Burley, Waymon, Hub, Howard Brown, Curt, Tommy Curtis and Robbie Davis.
He is survived by: his children, Joyce McIntyre (Gerald) of Sellersburg, Indiana, Larry Brown (Shirley) of Tompkinsville, Jackie Brown (Evelyn Jane) of Tompkinsville, Ronnie Brown (Joni) of Tompkinsville and Mark Brown of Tompkinsville; and his sisters, Beatrice McPherson of Burkesville, Edith McPherson of Louisville and Gerene Garmon of Tompkinsville. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
