She was predeceased by: her parents, John Clay and Annie Anderson (Huffines); her husband Ernest Wendell Lyon; and her siblings, Billy Joe, Clifton, Leroy Anderson, Vivian Presley and Ree Edson.
She is survived by: her children, Marlene Jo Ross (Richard) of Tompkinsville, Windelll Edd Lyon (Debi) of Corry and Ray Cecil Lyon (Patty) of Tompkinsville; her grandchildren, Amanda Ross West (James), Nancy Parsley (Daniel), Jessica Lyon, Jonas Lyon, Kaitlyn Bunt (John), Kaci Ross (Hunter) and Garrett (Kalli Lyon); and her siblings, Wanda Cornelius of Jasper, Runelle Scott Howard of Gamaliel, Allene Allen of Hendersonville, Tennessee and Clay Anderson Jr. of Powder Springs. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Serving as Pallbearers, Garrett and Jonas Lyon, Richard O. Ross, Kerry, and Mark Anderson, Barry Scott, and Clay Anderson Jr. Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of a donation to the Mt. Gilead Cemetery, in honor of Mrs. Lyon, and may be made at the Funeral Home.
