Betty Carter York Obituary

She was predeceased by: her parents, Addis Turner (Jones) and Robert "Bob" Askin Turner; her husbands, Dr. William Carter and Dan York; her son Kelly Carter; her granddaughter Leah Carter; and her daughter-in-law Terry Lynn Carter.
She is survived by: her children, Lynne Bushong (Jim) of Nashville, TN and Dr. Michael Carter of Tompkinsville, KY; and her siblings, Dr. Erwin Turner and Kaye Turner of Lexington, KY.. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Betty's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or to Monroe County Backpack Program.
