Betty Jo Bowman Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 27, 2023, at the age of 97, Betty Jo Bowman of Tompkinsville, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Winnie Ann (Carter) and Norris Ellsworth Smith; her husband William Denton Miller; her children, Sharon Miller Dillard and William Denton Miller, Jr.; her brother William Carter "Bill" Smith; and her half-sisters, Dorothy Smith York, Dean Smith Proffitt and Martha Jean Smith.
She is survived by: her son Steve Miller (Becky) of Melbourne, FL; her grandson Daniel; her son-in-law John Dillard of Salem, IN; her granddaughters-in-law, Nancy Jenkins and Stephanie Keltner; and her half-brother Alan Dale Curry of Florida. She is also survived by six great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Betty Jo's memory may be made to Skaggs Creek Cemetery.
