With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernice (Pruitt) Hammer of Tompkinsville, Kentucky, who passed away on May 17, 2022 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ebb Pruitt and Dora Pruitt (Dixon); and her husband Douglas Evans Hammer. She is survived by: her children, Mary Hammer of Tompkinsville and William Hammer of Cave City; and her sisters, Mary Wilson of Tompkinsville and Nancy Bray of Tompkinsville. She is also survived by six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
