It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Irene Delong of Tomahawk, Kentucky, born in Columbus, Ohio, who passed away on April 16, 2021, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jefferson Muncy and Charlotte Hinkle Muncy; her sons, Jeremiah Lee Delong and Franklin Dennis Delong; and her brother William Jeffery Muncy.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Jeremiah Delong, Kristin Preece (Delong), Jonathan Delong, Austin Mullette (Kelly), Brittany Mullette, Brandon Mullette and Nathan Stepp; her close friend Mike Fraker; and her siblings-in-law, Phyllis Lowe and Burnis Lowe. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the funeral home to assist with the cost of services.
