She was predeceased by: her husband Vernon "Pud" Dolin; her son Timothy Alan Dolin; her parents, John Kinder Martin and Effie May Barker Martin; and her siblings, Verba Pearl Davis, Deloris Elberta Chambers, Readith Janet McNeeley, Leamon, Quinton and Sebert Edwin Martin.
She is survived by: her son Vernon Michael Dolin (Audrey Fields) of Bluefield, VA; her grandchildren, Melinda Sue Goble (William Ray) of Tomahawk, KY, Brandon (Darlene), Amy Leigh of Virginia, Amanda Horn (Phillip) of London, KY, Andrew Goble (Ashley Harmon) of Louisa, KY and Rebecca Goble of Lexington, KY; her great grandchildren, Rachel, Hannah, Hollie, Jacob, Cody, Allison, Noah, Zackary and Henry; and her great great grandchildren, Ava, Ella, Carter, Cayson, Caydon, Audrey and Bascom.
Doris sought out crochet and knitting charities and donated many homemade blankets and caps for the Neo-Natal Units in various hospitals, painted Memory Boxes for Mothers of Stillborn Babies, and made mats for the homeless out of Walmart bags.
