He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon P. Medley and Ruth Adkins Medley; and his daughter Jessica Edmonson. He is survived by: his son Ian Medley; his stepdaughter Lela Medley Lyon; his grandchildren, Joshua, Autumn Medley and Jaycene Rice; his great grandchildren, Janayah, Jovanah and Jakayla; his brother Gordon "Diati" Medley; and his nieces, Rona Erskine and Jennifer Williams. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
