She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Newdigate and Carrie McKee Newdigate; and her brother Mark Newdigate. She is survived by: her husband Burl Eugene "Geno" Hanshaw; her children, Michelle Hickerson (Barry) of Tollesboro, Mark McCann, Jr. of Dayton, OH, Rebecca McCann of Versailles, KY, Jamie McCann of Tollesboro and Amanda McCann Cropper of Tollesboro; her grandchildren, Courtney Hunt (Dustin), Trista Hickerson, Lesley Hickerson, Autumn McCann, Lane McCann, Kelsey Hatton, Karina Ilhardt, Gunner McCann, Tierra McCann, Tanner Mason, Cody Cropper and Lovena Cropper; her great grandchildren, Brayden Cole, Tanner Hunt, Tayln Hunt and Caison Hunt; and her siblings, Doris Jones (Tom), Debbie Newdigate, Sharon Bellows and Mike Newdigate (Kathy).
A public, walk through visitation will be held at Brell & Son Funeral Home on Saturday January 23, 2021 from 11:00 a. m. to 1:00 p. m. All in attendance must wear a mask and practice social distancing.
