He was predeceased by: his wife Marie Guess (Hall); his parents, Freeman Guess and Mildred Guess (Cruce); and his siblings, Arlene Guess, Donna Whetstone, Dorothy Morphew, Ruth Redmond, Gilbert Guess, Richard Guess, Dale Guess and Gin Guess.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sherry Lasher (Chris) of Hampton, Tammy Dunning (Thomas) of Burna and Rita Tabor (Wayne) of Calvert City; and his grandchildren, Sydney Lasher and Amelia Tabor.
