He was predeceased by: his wife Phyllis Elaine Gregory Adams; his parents, Oakle Jackson Adams and Virginia Hamby Adams; and his siblings, Martha June Adams, Nelda Adams, Meryl Adams, Mark Adams and Jonothan Adams.
He is survived by: his children, Virginia Adams of Tiline, KY, Daniel Adams (Whitney) of Salem, KY and Samuel Adams (Stacy); his brothers, Timothy Adams (Debbie) of Dawson Springs, KY and Winston Adams (Day); and his grandchildren, Libby, Ashley, Tyler, Alice, Caroline, Tucker and Isaiah. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
