It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice Maggard (Thousandsticks, Kentucky), born in Hazard, Kentucky, who passed away on October 22, 2018, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Etna Bowling; her children, Osalee Maggard and Connie Davidson; her stepdaughter Barbara Maggard; and her siblings, Junior Bowling and Kay Hammock.
She is survived by: her husband Vilas Maggard of Thousandsticks, KY; her sons, Charlie Maggard (Bobbie) of London, KY and Wayne Maggard (Pam) of Wooton, KY; and her stepchildren, Jerry Maggard (Marietta) of Essie, KY, Stanley Maggard (Brenda) of Somerset, KY and Sharon Brown (Wayne) of London, KY. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
