He is survived by: his sisters, Sadie Rice, Nancy Welch, Mae Sizemore and Rosie Lewis; his granddaughter Abbigail Ramirez; his daughter Lorretta Ramirez (John) of Dayton, OH; his former wife Thelma Lewis; his stepchildren, James Tipton of Thousandsticks, KY and Tammie Tipton of Washington State; his siblings, Frank Lewis (Verna) of Thousandsticks, KY., Purl Lewis (Rose) of Thousandsticks, KY., Thurman Lewis (Poshia) of Thousandsticks, KY., Polly Schafer of Dayton, OH and Mildred Freeman of Lexington, KY.; his brother-in-law Charlie Rice of Hyden, KY; his grandchildren, Adrian Ramirez, Sarah Jo Emmons (Joey) and Christina Williams; and his great grandchildren, Garrett Burns, Joshua Taylor, Abbygail Vallotton, William Vallotton and Malana Jenkins. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
