She was predeceased by: her parents, Dock Sergent and Goldie Lucas Sergent; her sons, John Wayne Adams (Little John) and Mark Adams (Bocky); and her siblings, Rocky Sergent, Johnny Sergent, Joe Sergent and Phyllis Sexton.
She is survived by: her husband John Wayne Adams; her son Matthew Brett Adams (Christie); her grandchildren, Makenzie Adams of Fort Thomas, Kellie Adams of Kingdome Come and Destany Cornett (Byron Barker); her great grandchildren, Bryson Paul Barker and Hudson Kole Barker; and her close friend Linda Cornett.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Letcher Funeral Home (102 Main St, Whitesburg, KY 41858). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
